“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

—Viktor E. Frankl

Far too often the truth of who we are can be drowned out by the opinions, suggestions and subliminal messages we receive from society, family and friends.

These messages often tell us that “if we just work harder, eat less, make more money, be sexier, more masculine”, then we will finally be happy. With time we slowly become part of the do more, be more culture and submit to the belief that our worthiness is tied to our usefulness to others.

Hey if this is you, just know I get it, lord do I get it! I want you to know something, your value is a birthright, not something to be earned. The person you are right now; reading this message, is and always will be enough, with or without your accolades, money, accomplishments or refinements. If you are searching for a therapist to talk to then you also deserve a therapist who “gets it”. A therapist who sees you whether you have your shit together or not.

psst…This is where the music cues and I come in (clears throat),

Hi my name is Tammie and I’m a licensed clinical therapist, social worker, neurodivergent superhero, and mom to an amazing daughter, cat, and dog.

I’m so honored at the possibility of accompanying you on your healing journey so thank you for taking the time to visit my page. My goal is to help you facilitate lifelong change that will foster a sense of control, safety, and well-being through cultivating and mirroring a healthy therapeutic relationship.

Does this vibe with you?

  • "I'm constantly overthinking every little thing while simultaneously forgetting everything."

  • "I’m interested in exploring aspects of intimacy, sexuality and relationships and would like some support."

  • "I’m trying to make what feels like a bazillion (yes this is an actual word) decision’s every day, while trying to meet everyone else’s needs."

  • "I am lonely and overly emotional yet unemotional and clingy but distant & private but will overshare and I'm an extrovert but also its way to peoplie to go outside and connect."

  • "I’m a healer/therapist/ instructor/teacher etc. ; I know firsthand why compassion is so important. I’ve made it my passion to fight and protect others but lately, I feel tired, I feel burnt out and I don’t have any patience anymore but can’t figure out what's wrong with me."
